Beef Jerky. Mold or Salt?
My grandmother just bought me 2 beef jerky sticks (Matador). I noticed immediately that one was kinda limping over while the other stood straight up. So I ate the one the second one. I looked at the limpy one and seen that it had some kinda of white stuff on it, so I didn't eat it. I am still afraid that the second one was unclean, so I am asking if it was. There were no tears or anything to let open air in it, but one thing I did notice was that the second one (the cleaner looking one) had the sauce kind of stuff at the bottom of the pack that drips from the jerky. The first one didn't, and looked older and drier. Please tell me if I am okay.
