YES, Jason Kidd is the smartest basketball player in the NBA in my opinion. When he first started playing in the NBA he had no jumpshot and his IQ made him an allstar. Did you see how he called a timeout with 1 sec remaining in the OKC series? Other then Jason Kidd I think Michael Jordan has the highest Basketball IQ of all-time and Brandon Roy 2nd that is currently playing.
