Will I get Sick??? ( Spoiled Beef Jerky?? )?

I bought a Jack Links beef jerky stick. I was so hungry that I just took a bite with out eating it, and it swallowed it right away. But after I noticed that the taste was a bit weird, and when I looked at the jerky, it kinda had brownish spots on it. This was yesterday, and I feel fine... but maybe I have some bacteria growing inside me and I don't know it? What is the worst scenario possible? If I have an infection, would I know with out getting tested??
